Gas Boiler Services - what's included?
- Pressure test carried out on all gas pipework at the property
- Visual inspection of the flue joints, ensuring it is secure and brackets are fitted
- Draining down the boiler for servicing
- Flushing the main heat exchanger (condensing models)
- Removal and cleaning of the condensate bottle/trap
- Repressurising the boiler's expansion vessel to maintain good system pressure
- Removal and cleaning of magnetic system filter (if fitted)
- Checking of all internal seals and joints within the boiler
- Firing the boiler and checking the working gas pressure as per the manufacturer's instructions
- Completing combustion test with flue gas analyser (printouts can be provided)
- Checking carbon monoxide alarm is fitted and operational
- Any other system checks required
- Complete boiler service paperwork
- Gas safety certificate provided with every service
